Every purchase with purpose

What your Thrive piece pays for

When you buy from Thrive, you bring home something well made and you pay for safe, fair-wage employment for women emerging from crisis, exploitation or trauma.

Your purchase also supports prevention programmes and community awareness work that challenges gender-based violence and protects the next generation. It is a quiet kind of stand, carried on your shoulder or in your pocket.

Why it matters

Gender-based violence in Thailand is common and rarely counted

41 to 47%of ever-partnered women surveyed in Bangkok and a rural Thai province reported physical or sexual violence by a partner in their lifetime.WHO Multi-country Study on Women’s Health and Domestic Violence against Women

Those figures come from the last large prevalence study of its kind in Thailand. Researchers have noted that no national study on the same scale has been carried out since, which means much of the violence women experience still goes unmeasured.

For migrant women, survivors of exploitation and women from conflict-affected or low-income backgrounds, the risk is higher still. Many lack safe jobs, stable income or legal support, which leaves them exposed to further harm.

Thrive was built as a direct response. Safe employment, a steady wage and trauma-informed support give women the footing to rebuild their lives, support their families and plan for the long term.

Our theory of change

From a first shift to a lasting livelihood

  1. The problem

Many women lack access to safe employment and the chance to build a meaningful livelihood.

  2. What Thrive does

Hands-on training in production, sales and design. Strength-based role discovery. Life skills, mentorship and a structured, dignified workplace.

  3. Short-term outcomes

Safe, stable work. Growing confidence and belonging. New vocational skills and less reliance on unsafe work.

  4. Long-term impact

Financial independence, cycles of exploitation broken, and women leading as trainers and changemakers.

Vision

A world where women are safe, skilled and empowered, rising as creators, trainers and changemakers in ethical fashion.

Mission

Stable employment, practical skills and a supportive, dignified workspace for women from vulnerable and exploited backgrounds, so they can build sustainable livelihoods and rediscover a sense of possibility.
