A shop where the maker comes first
A mosaic is many small pieces set close together until they make one picture. The shop works the same way. A farming family in the northern highlands, a seamstress at the Thrive workshop in Chiang Mai, a weaving cooperative in Myanmar, a family making skincare from herbs grown by Karen communities. Each piece is small. Together they hold up a livelihood.
Mosaic Market is part of the work of Rise Foundation Asia, which supports women and families leaving exploitation and crisis across the region. Our own businesses, Mosaic Brew and Thrive, exist to create safe, steady work. The partner brands on our shelves are chosen because they do the same.
Coffee, clothing and craft under one roof
Highland arabica, roasted in Chiang Mai
Shade-grown and hand-picked by Akha farming families, then roasted in small batches. Three roasts in 250 g bags, brewed at the café and sold to take home.
Everyday pieces from a fair-wage workshop
Totes, wallets and pouches sewn by women rebuilding their lives, with training, mentorship and steady pay built into every order.
Sixteen partners, each one named
Hill tribe weaving, bean-to-bar chocolate, natural skincare and beeswax wraps from social enterprises across Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Mosaic CaféA slower cup on Changklan Road
The café shares its room with the shop, a short walk from the Night Bazaar. Every espresso and pour-over is made with Mosaic Brew, so the beans in your cup come from the same Akha farms as the bags on the shelf.
People come to read, to meet a friend, to work through an afternoon, or simply to sit somewhere quiet between errands. The room is full of handmade things, and most of them are for sale.

Mosaic Market, Mosaic Brew and Thrive are freedom businesses of Rise Foundation Asia. They create dignified jobs for women and young adults leaving exploitation, and they help fund The Whispering Willow, a trauma-sensitive support space at the heart of the foundation’s work.
Proceeds from Mosaic Brew support mental health awareness and suicide prevention education across Asia.
